Math Review

Hello class. These are the topics on your math final. To practice, you should do the problems I assign in the book. If you need help, please tell me!!!

Your math final has 70 questions. 25 of those questions are from Terms 1 to 3. The rest are from Term 4.

Here are the things you need to do:
1. Write a very big decimal number in word form. Something like 13,492,345,654.234
2. Compare numbers using <, >, and =. You will need to compare decimals, fractions, and whole numbers.
3. Change decimal numbers into fractions. (Like 0.25 turns into 25/100, which can be simplified to 1/4).
4. Do a word problem where you have to multiply a decimal number.
5. Add, Subtract, Multiply and divide decimal numbers and whole numbers.
6. Find the missing number/solve the problem when given a number using Algebra skills. (For example, if y + 3 = 7, what is y?)
7. Know multiples, factors, greatest common factor, and least common multiple.
8. Know divisibility rules.
9. Know prime numbers and what numbers are prime and what numbers are not prime.
10. Know composite numbers.
11. Know even and odd numbers.
12. Know exponents.
13. Know square roots.
14. Know how to do a prime factorization.
15. Know how to simplify, compare, and draw fractions
Geometry skills from term 4:
1. Know parallel, perpendicular, types of lines and rays, and intersecting lines.
2. Know acute, obtuse, and right angles.
3. Find the measurement of an angle using a protractor.
4. Find the measurement of an angle using algebra skills.
5. Know how many degrees are inside a circle and a triangle.
6. Know the type of triangles: isoceles, scalene, equaliteral, right, obtuse, and acute.
7. Know the names of all the polygons and 3D shapes.
8. Know how to find perimeter.
9. Know how to find the area of a triangle, rectangle, square, irregular polygon, and parallelogram.
10. Know how to find the volume of a cube, rectangular prism, or triangular prism.
11. Know what the diameter and the radius of a circle are.
12. Know what congruent and similar mean.

hi miss melody a miss a lot. okay if we stdy this of math and the activity thay you puted yesterday if we study that we are good for the exam???
and antother for the grammar you a goig to post for practice? and miss melody you can tell me your mail to write a thing for you.
